NextGen Talent Awards Set to Celebrate Ghana’s Rising Stars in Music, Comedy, Dance & Art
Accra, Ghana — A new wave of talent recognition is hitting Ghana’s creative scene with the launch of the NextGen Talent Awards 2025 — a youth-powered event designed to spotlight rising performers, content creators, and artists across the country.
With the theme “Shining the Spotlight on Tomorrow’s Legends,” the awards aim to celebrate young creatives in diverse fields including music, dance, comedy, and digital art. The inaugural event will take place later this year in Accra, with voting and nominations already building momentum.
“This platform is for the upcoming legends — those putting in work, passion, and originality,” says the founder, Mizta Salvation. “We want to uplift young voices and create opportunities where there were none.”
Over 30 categories have been created to represent the best in vocal talent, content creation, DJing, gospel, secular music, choreography, fashion, and more. Nominations are now open to youth from all over Ghana
Fans will be able to vote through a custom website and shortcode (GHS 1.5 per vote), giving them direct influence in selecting winners. A panel of industry judges will also weigh in to ensure fairness and excellence.
